Bishkek, Jan. 4, 2018 /Kabar/. Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Taabaldy Tillaev suggests to move the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Dushanbe to Khujand. Such a proposal was voiced by the parliamentarian at a meeting of the Parliament on Thuesday.

He said that Khujand is the second capital of Tajikistan and is closer to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, Tillaev asked for information on the activities of the embassies of Kyrgyzstan abroad.

"Many embassies cannot yet show the work at an appropriate level. Let's tell them then, in what direction to go, what to do. In some countries the embassy staff is very large, but there is no work. Let's cut them down and better increase the staff of the embassies, which show the result," he said.

The deputy said that the state spends millions, but there is no result.

"At the moment, we can see the work of only a few embassies," he added.
