Bishkek, March 12, 2018 / Kabar /. The International Tourism Exchange was held in the city of Berlin (Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) from March 7-11, 2018, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Within the framework of this event, Kyrgyz delegation led by Deputy Minister of Tourism Department at the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Jamankulov took part in the 9th meeting of the Ministers of Tourism of the Silk Road.
Jamankulov informed about the tourist opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and also told about forthcoming Third World Nomad Games, which will be held in September 2018 on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, Kyrgyzstan. In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized that the sphere of tourism is one of the priority directions of the country's economic development.
In addition, Jamankulov held a meeting with Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikavshili, during which the prospects for development of cooperation in the field of tourism were discussed. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic made a presentation on the theme World Nomad Games and Nomadic Tourism in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the 7th Forum of Silk Road Tour Operators.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the FRG Erines Otorbaev expressed gratitude to the domestic tourism operators for their active participation in the event and also congratulated women employees of tourist companies on International Women's Day, wished them success in the work and presented flowers.
The event was attended by such travel companies as KYRGYZ CONCEPT, Travel Land, Central Asia Tourism Company, TRAVEL HUB, TRAVEL EXPERTS, ITC Asia Mountains, BAIBOL Travel, Tien-Shan TRAVEL, LOGOS Travel, Discover Central Asia Tours; ALA TOO and others.
For its part, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the FRG provided all possible assistance to the tour operators of Kyrgyzstan.
