GDP growth of Uzbekistan in 2018 will make 5.6%, Kyrgyzstan - 4%

Tashkent, Jan. 10, 2018 / Kabar /. The real growth of Uzbekistan's GDP in 2018 will be 5.6%, Uzbek media reported with reference to the January 2018 Global Economic Prospects.

According to the information, the growth of Uzbekistan's economy in 2017 was 6.2%. Specialists of the bank predict that the GDP of Uzbekistan in 2018 will grow by 5.6%, in 2019 - 6.3% and in 2020 - 6.5%.

Earlier, the bank forecasted that the growth of Uzbekistan's economy in 2017 will be 7.6%, and in 2018 - 7.8% and in 2019 - 7.8%.

Also, the World Bank predicts economic growth in Kyrgyzstan in 2018 at 4%.

According to the bank's forecasts, in 2017, the total growth will slow down to 3.4%, reflecting the decline in gold production, while the growth of the economy without gold, according to forecasts, remained at the same level.
